NM: Loveduck just gets what we do. The store has such an easy, welcoming energy and our dresses really live well in that space. Their clients are looking for things that feel special but not overworked and that is very much the heart of Natalie Martin. It feels like a really natural fit.
What makes Loveduck successful as you watch from Los Angeles?
NM: From here in LA I think what makes Loveduck so successful is that Ainslie knows her customer so well. The buy always feels thoughtful and personal. You can tell Ainslie is choosing pieces that she genuinely loves and people respond to that. It is not about chasing trends it is about creating a place people trust and want to come back to.
What’s your fav dress we buy and why?
I always smile when I see the Fiore Maxi on Loveducks order. It is one of those pieces that just works in so many ways. It is easy to throw on but it still feels really special. I love how their customers keep coming back to it season after season.
