THE AINSLIE CREATIVE TOUCH

Described by Vogue as “the name behind some of the most beautiful press launches and events,” Ainslie Curran is a stylist like no other. A woman with a peerless eye for detail and an ability to transform any space into something magical and evocative, Ainslie is one of Sydney’s most sought-after stylists.

Her two decades in the industry include lengthy stints working for, and alongside, the biggest brands in the world. In her 20s, she began working at Giorgio Armani’s flagship London store, before returning home to Australia to help launch the cosmetics juggernaut Mecca Cosmetica, as the head of sales and marketing. After having two daughters, she became a freelance stylist and continues to create the most spectacular events for Mecca Cosmetica and other leading brands.

As Ainslie told Vogue in 2018, “I was always the one at school making the most colourful costume, the biggest Easter parade hat and having had a fashion background (becoming a freelance stylist) seemed like a natural progression after my more structured roles at Mecca Cosmetica. I am so lucky. I truly love it, every job brings challenges and achievements. I love seeing spaces come to life, from a white room into a creative colourful event space.”
